Macon Renovations, LLC was originally formed by Kevin Brown and
Joe Boyd, both of whom are graduates of the Walter F. George Mercer
School of Law. Both Kevin and Joe believed that based on their experience,
more quality, nicely appointed apartments were needed in downtown
Macon, Georgia. Joe has since moved on, but the Company continues to renovate properties and apartments
with graduate students and professionals in mind. While the company
rents to many different people, the majority of our residents are
law students, medical students, and legal and medical professionals.
While the company does own non-residential properties,
it's mission is to provide upscale, well-maintained apartments while
at the same time preserving the character and hertiage of the historic
homes in which they are located. As noted throughout the site, most
of the properties owned by the Company have been renovated to standards
set by the National Parks Service for renovations to historic residences.
We've paid close attention to color, architecture, and design, both
interior and exterior, in order
to as closely approximate as possible the original concepts of the
builders of these beautiful homes.
Macon Renovations offers a "move-up" plan for
our residents who wish to upgrade to larger or a different style of
apartment in one of our other properties. We also offer referral fees
if someone recommended by one of our residents rents one of our units.
Finally, the Company maintains relationships with other apartment
management companies in Macon, so that if prospective tenants cannot
find the right fit in one of our properties, we can help them locate
in one that suits their needs.
The Company is now professionally managed by Brian Rooks, who is also one of the owners. Brian maintains and continually improves the properties, and also tends to the needs of prospective and current tenants.
Business Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. through 5:30 p.m., although Brian makes himself available to tenants for emergency needs at most other reasonable times, and shows available properties by appoint during both business and after/weekend hours.

Amenities
Depending on the property selected, some
of our units include: wireless internet, digital cable, washer/dryers,
and alarm systems. Off street parking is available at most properties
for no additional charge.
Fit and Finish
Most of our properties feature all electric
appliances, central HVAC systems, hardwood floors, ceiling fans, large
front porches and/or balaconies. Several of our properties have been
restored to standards set by the National Parks Service for renovations
to historic homes.
